It is important that we have the props and costumes because we need the story to be as accurate as possible, and so we can also get any props and costumes prepared a few weeks earlier so it doesnt have to be a last minute rush.
The grey hoodie represents the killer in prison so as im an actor who is the killer i have to wear a grey hoodie in the prison scene.
It is also important to have the correct props and accurate as possible to the story it is based of because it makes it look better.
The codes and conventions are important because you need to make sure you know whatparts you want to film, making sure to have planned out different camera shots and angles, like close ups, wide shots, worm shots and far away shots, In the genre we picked which was horror/crime, close up shots will work best for this since there usually is a lot of close up shots during these types of genres.
The mise en scene invloves setting and actors etc, In our group we have planned to film our setting in Worden park which is nect to the college campus in Leyland, we thought this was a really good place to film because its got woods and a pond which works well since in true crime we are doing the body is found next to a pond. The actors will know what to do since they have planned out there part and prepared their costumes and props.
